Late TV legends Alex Trebek, Regis Philbin and Larry King, who all passed away over the last year, were honored during The 48th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards, with Robin Roberts, Ken Jeong, Kathie Lee Gifford and Martha Stewart all speaking on their behalf.
Hosted by “The Talks” Sheryl Underwood, the two-hour show honoring the best in daytime was pre-taped on June 12 and 13, with every nominee asked to give acceptance speeches in the event they won. The winners did not actually know they won until last night, and the complete list of these winners is as follows:
