Syfy drama The Ark has officially been renewed for season 3, with its release date coming soon. Created by Dean Devlin,, the science fiction series first premiered in February 2023 and follows a spacecraft known as Ark One, 300 years in the future, shuttling colonists from a doomed Earth to a new home. After a catastrophic event kills most of the crew, the survivors work to maintain the ship so they can reach their destination.
The Ark stars Christie Burke (Maid) as Lt. Sharon Garnet, Richard Fleeshman (The Sandman) as Lt. James Brice, Reece Ritchie (The Outpost) as Lt. Spencer Lane (and his clone Ian), Stacey Read as life support chief Alicia Nevins and Ryan Adams as horticulture whiz Angus Medford.
“We’re thrilled to launch another season of The Ark!” says series creator, co-showrunner and executive producer Dean Devlin. “Back in space again, and the best is yet to come!”
In season two of The Ark, which aired its finale in October, after the brave crew of Ark One reached their destination and found it uninhabitable, they struggled to survive long enough to locate a new home for themselves and all the ships that would follow.
