Press Release: Amazon Prime Video has greenlit a 10-episode third season of The Summer I Turned Pretty. Based on the best-selling book trilogy from Jenny Han, the series is described as a multigenerational drama that hinges on a love triangle between one girl and two brothers, the ever-evolving relationship between mothers and their children, and the enduring power of strong female friendship. It is a coming-of-age story about first love, first heartbreak, and the magic of that one perfect summer.
Season Three of the Amazon Original series will premiere exclusively on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories around the world.

Season Three was officially greenlit ahead of the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes. Production on Season Three will not begin until after labor negotiations with those unions have been resolved.

The second season of The Summer I Turned Pretty is now streaming on Prime Video, with new episodes weekly until the season finale on Friday, August 18, 2023.
