NBC has unveiled the coaches panel for the season, set to premiere in Spring 2025, with a mix of new and familiar faces. Country music star Kelsea Ballerini will make her official coaching debut after appearing on The Voice as a battle advisor during season 16 in 2019. The country musician made another appearance on the series in 2021 when she filled in for Kelly Clarkson for a brief stint during season 20. During season 15, Ballerini became the first-ever fifth coach, leading a group of eliminated hopefuls in “The Comeback Stage.”
Season 27 will also mark the return of veteran coach Adam Levine. The Maroon 5 frontman departed from the show in 2019 after 16 seasons, the second-longest run in The Voice history. Blake Shelton held the longest streak, remaining on the series for 23 seasons.
Ballerini and Levine will appear on the panel alongside returning coaches John Legend — who appeared from seasons 15 through 22, 24, and 25 — and Michael Bublé, who will make his debut later this year on season 26 alongside Snoop Dogg.
